While its competitors are busy announcing new devices, HTC also seems to be working hard to stay put in the competition. While it usually used to go for Android phones, the company has decided to take another chance on the Windows 8 platform.
The HTC Tiara is a midrange Windows 8 phone which got leaked. The device has a plain design with smooth corners. The device is said to have a 4.3 inch display with an 800 x 480 pixels resolution. The smartphone would be powered by a 1.2 GHz dual core Snapdragon processor with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage.
The HTC Tiara is expected to sport two cameras – an 8 MP rear camera and a front facing 1.6 MP camera. The same device was earlier spotted for FCC certification with Sprint network. The Windows Phone from HTC seems to be nearing its release.
