Back at the Mobile World Congress in February, HTC went on to announce its One series but since then the company has been absent from the international scene.
But a new device code-named as the Proto has popped up as you can see above in the picture which might get announced by HTC at the upcoming IFA back in Berlin later this month.
Going with the design the Proto seems to have adopted the design of HTC’s higher end model in the One series but going by the specifications, the device seems to be a successor to HTC One V.
Proto is until now set to arrive with a 4 inch screen with WVGA display, powered by a 1 GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, Beats Audio technology for improved sound quality. And all of this will be packed in a 9.62mm thick body. And it is also expected to run on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS.
The Proto is expected to arrive at the low-mid range and target mass worldwide. More details on the smartphone are expected to flow in as we near the probable release at the IFA.
