While HTC is done unveiling the flagship line-up, the company is now focussing on the mid-range segment, the latest being the HTC One S9.
HTC has announced the launch of the HTC One S9, which is the company’s mid-range offering with a design language similar to the One M9 series and flaunting a full brushed metal unibody design. The device has a 5 inch IPS display with Gorilla Glass protection and resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The smartphone is powered by the 2 GHz octa core MediaTek Helio X10 processor with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage.
The HTC One S9 has a 13 MP rear facing auto focus camera with OIS, 28mm lens, f/2.0 aperture and dual LED flash. There is also a front facing UltraPixel camera. The device runs on the Android Marshmallow version with a 2840 mAh battery. The phone has dual SIM support with 4G LTE connectivity. The handset is available in Gold, Gunmetal Grey and Silver colour options and is expected to start rolling out globally in May.
