The mini version of the HTC One M8 hasn’t been a secret really, thanks to various leaks and rumors. Today, there’s nothing left to hide as a couple of pictures of the HTC One mini 2 have leaked. One picture is a press image from the prolific leaker @evleaks and the other image is an alleged live picture of the One mini 2.
The press image from @evleaks shows us the colors the device will come, that is the same gray, gold and silver we’ve seen in the One M8. The device looks identical to its elder sibling and as the previous leaks suggested, there’s no Duo camera on the One mini 2.
The other leaked picture is a live picture, which seems different to the press image above. The live picture shows the metal unibody combined with cool colorful accents. We don’t know yet if these colorful accents were used in prototype devices or they will be part of the device when it officially launches.
The specs are also reiterated, there’s said to be a 4.5-inch 720p display, Quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.4 GHz. Other specs include 16 GB internal storage (microSD expansion should be in tow), 1 GB RAM, 13 MP camera with LED flash and Android 4.4 KitKat with Sense 6.0.
The specs are in line with what we’ve seen in the Moto G but what will matter to make HTC One mini 2 a hit or a miss is the pricing. The HTC One mini 2 is expected to revealed later this month, so we should know soon.
