Even before the launch of the HTC One (M8), it was palpable that the smaller Mini version of the flagship was in store. Now, HTC has officially unveiled the HTC One Mini 2.
HTC has officially announced the HTC One Mini 2, which is the smaller version of the flagship One (M8) and the successor to the HTC One Mini. The handset has a similar design with brushed metal body and smoothly tapered edges. The smartphone has a 4.5 inch display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The device is powered by the quad core Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz along with 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage.
The HTC One Mini 2 has no UltraPixel camera but instead a 13 MP rear facing camera with LED flash, BSI sensor, f/2.2 lens and 1080p video recording capabilities. There is also a front facing 5 MP camera with BSI sensor. The phone runs on the latest Android KitKat with a layer of the HTC Sense 6.0 UI and the HTC BlinkFeed. The handset would be available in Gunmetal Gray, Glacial Silver, and Amber Gold colours.
