It might be the most leaked handset of the year, but just after the official unveil of the HTC One Max, the pricing for the handset too has been leaked. The only thing left to be leaked is when the handset would be made available, which should be soon on all counts. GSM insider states that it has got the first price leak for the handset from a Chinese source. The fact that the leak originated in China has some credibility since HTC is targeting the Chinese market currently.
According to the source, the handset will be priced around $833 (<Rs.50,000) keeping it out of the reach of the average consumer. The pricing might go up to as high as $899 for some regions. This and its size, puts this handset in the same class as the Samsung Note 3 and Sony Xperia Z Ultra.
If this leaks turn out to be true, the HTC One Max handset would be a pretty hefty handset when it comes to price. Would it be worth it? Have a look at the specs and decide for yourself.
