While HTC revealed its flagship One M9 at its pre-MWC event, we had expected one more device from HTC to go official, the One M9 Plus. The HTC One M9 Plus was part of several leaks but it wasn’t made official by the company. We have no idea when the Taiwanese manufacturer plans on unveiling the device but we have come across some more details on the device.
The new One M9 Plus details come from the leaker @OnLeaks. The leaker posted a tweet detailing two important specs of the device, the display size and the dimensions of the device. According to the leakster, the One M9 Plus will pack in a 5.2-inch QHD (2560x1440p) display, which would make up for a pixel density of 565 ppi. The dimensions of the device are said to be 150.9 x 72.5 x 10.15 mm, which seems pretty HTC-like.
That’s all the tweet reveals but from the previous leaks, we know that the One M9 Plus is supposed to be just a larger One M9 with the same internals but better display and larger battery. Previous rumors had also suggested that the One M9 Plus will be phablet with a 5.5-inch display, this new leak contradicts it.
Well, we will suggest you take all of this with a pinch of salt, considering nothing’s official yet. As always, we’ll let you know if we hear something concrete about the One M9 Plus. Till then, check out our hands on with the One M9.
