HTC is expected to launch the One M9 along with a One M9 Plus at the MWC event on March 1 and we recently had a couple of leaked pictures of the upcoming HTC flagship. Well, we now have press renders for both the devices, thanks to popular leakster @evleaks.
The leaked press renders are in line with what we’ve heard of both the One M9 and the One M9 Plus. We can see there’s no bottom black bar on the One M9. We can also see the new BoomSound speakers, which will be slit towards the top and the bottom of the device’s face.
We can also see bigger front-facing cameras on these devices like the Desire Eye. The One M9 Plus looks similar but for the fingerprint scanner on the bottom. From what we know, the button will not be a home key, as we see on Samsung devices.
The One M9 is rumored to be coming with a 5-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 810, 3 GB RAM, 20 MP rear camera and a 13 MP front-facing camera. The One M9 Plus will feature specs identical to the One M9 but for the bigger 5.5-inch Quad-HD display and the fingerprint scanner.
HTC seems to be employing Apple’s strategy with two versions of its flagship. We’ll have to wait and see if it works for the Taiwanese company.
