The next HTC flagship is eagerly awaited even though the launch is more than a month away from now. The One M9, which is what we expect it to be called leaked in a couple of pictures recently and today, we have another leak.
The new leak comes from the folks at Phandroid and we get to see the One M9 more clearly and in all its glory. As we’ve expected all along, the device will look very similar to the One M8 but there are a few hardware changes. The lock button has been moved to the right side of the device, which is a welcome change because with the increase of display sizes, accessing the buttons on the top is a real pain. The volume buttons have also been moved to the lower right for better access.
On the rear, we get to see the bigger camera sensor once again and there’s no Duo camera in place, so we can expect the rumoured 20.7 MP Sony sensor to be certainly present.
We also get a confirmation on specifications of the upcoming HTC flagship. The reported specs are:
- 5-inch 1080p display
- Octa-core 64-bit Snapdragon 810 processor
- Adreno 430 GPU
- 3 GB RAM
- 2,840 mAh
- Android 5.0 Lollipop with Sense 7
- 20.7 MP primary camera
- UltraPixel front-facing camera
The HTC One M9 is expected to be unveiled on March 1st at MWC and with the intensity of these leaks, the Taiwanese company might not have any surprises to announce. There’s a smartwatch though that is yet to be leaked.
