HTC has started rolling out the Android KitKat version 4.4.3 updates to the flagship HTC One (M8) in India. While most vendors are directly rolling out the v.4.4.4 with the Open SSL patch, HTC is offering the same update within the version 4.4.3. The update, weighing at 658 MB, is being rolled out over-the-air (OTA) in a phased manner and is expected to reach all users by the end of this month.
Interestingly, the Android KitKat v4.4.3 update for the HTC One (M8) adds 4G LTE support to the handset. Further, the update also brings in the latest versions of apps like Gallery, Camera, Settings, and Sync Manager. There are minor UI improvements for the Sense UI. To check if you have received the update, go to Settings -> About Phone -> Software Updates.
