Just yesterday, we brought you some details on the HTC One M8 Prime and @evleaks is at it again. This time he has posted renders of the device that show us the device in all its glory.
The render is a 360-degree one, so yes, we get to see every side of the device. On the front, we get to see the dual BoomSound speakers, a front facing camera, a sensor just above the display and an HTC logo. The back features the Duo camera, which unlike the One M8 is protruding. The camera lens is circled with an orange ring, which does seem a bit odd. There’s dual LED flash and an HTC logo in the middle.
@evleaks mentions the device as HTC M8 Prime but we are not sure if HTC will call it that. We know that the beastly device will come with a 5.5-inch Quad HD display and it’ll be powered by the Snapdragon 805 coupled with 3 GB RAM. The device’s body will be made out of a composite of aluminum and liquid silicone and that it’ll be waterproof.
The protruding camera is the most interesting part because a previous rumor had suggested an 18 MP camera unit. We are not too sure about that but we never know. HTC has been criticised for its low resolution UltraPixel cameras on the One and One M8, so they might go the higher resolution way with the next flagship.
We’ll have to pretty long for the official unveiling in the device as the rumors say September but we are pretty sure, we should know more before that. We’ve already got the renders, so more details should follow.
