After announcing the successor to the HTC One in February, the company has now launched the flagship HTC One (M8) in India.
The HTC One (M8) has a 5 inch full HD 1080p display with Corning Gorilla glass 3 protection. The phone is designed with high quality metal unibody and dual front facing stereo speakers. The smartphone is powered by the quad core Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5 GHz along with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage.
The HTC One (M8) has the Duo Camera technology which has an UltraPixel camera with 1/3″ BSI sensor, f/2.0 aperture, 28mm lens and pixel size of 2.0 microns. There is also a secondary rear facing camera which is used to capture depth information. The dual LED flash automatically selects the right tone and intensity based on the surroundings. There is a front facing 5 MP camera as well.
The HTC One (M8) runs on the latest Android KitKat version with the new HTC Sense 6.0 UI. The device has 4G LTE support and accepts only nano SIM. The handset is priced at Rs. 49900 and would be available starting from May 7.
