The HTC One E8, which was released last year was essentially a One M8 with a plastic build and well, the company is all set to bring its successor, the One E9. New images of the One E9 have leaked along with some details on the device.
The HTC One E9 (A55) features a glossy plastic back, just like its predecessor. The front is what the One M9 looks like with the dual BoomSound stereo speakers in tow. The back features a large camera lens and we expect it to be the same 20 MP unit from HTC’s flagship.
The One E9 will have a major difference to the One M9, as it is said to be packing a 5.5-inch Quad HD (2560x1440p) display. The rest of rumored specs include a 2.0 GHz Octa-core MediaTek MT6759 chipset coupled with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage.
The front camera is said to be the same 4 MP UltraPixel unit from the One M9. It is said to be running Sense 7.0 on top of Android 5.0 Lollipop.
We have no idea when HTC plans on announcing the One E9 but we’ll let you know as soon as we get to know.
