HTC has unveiled the much rumored and leaked One M8 Ace under a new moniker HTC One E8. The device features similar specs to the flagship One M8 in a plastic body.
The design is also similar to the HTC One M8 but in a plastic body. It features the same 5-inch Full HD (1920x1080p) display and it is powered by a Quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor. There’s 2 GB RAM, 16 GB of internal storage along with microSD expansion up to 128 GB.
Most of the innards remain the same from the One M8 but there’s one major difference. The HTC One E8 features a 13 MP with a BSI sensor, f/2.2 aperture and a single-LED flash unlike the One M8, which features the 4 MP Duo Camera. The front facing camera is the same brilliant 5 MP camera with a BSI sensor. Both the cameras are capable of 1080p video recording.
There’s one more difference. The One E8 features dual SIM connectivity. There’s LTE connectivity as well in one of the SIMs. The device features a 2600 mAh battery. Android 4.4 with Sense 6.0 runs the show.
The HTC One E8 will go on sale in select markets early this month. The device will be available in Black, Red and White.
