While the HTC One owners in America and Europe started getting the Android 4.4 update on their devices last month, it is only now that the HTC One Android 4.4 KitKat update is finally available for Indian owners. The update has also reached Hong Kong, Indonesia and Malaysia.
The update bumps up the Android version to the latest 4.4.2 and brings all the new KitKat features along with the new enhancements that HTC brings. Android 4.4 KitKat brings the new immersive mode, better multitasking, cloud printing support and more.
HTC has also brought about a few updates to its Sense skin. There is the improved Blinkfeed, updates to the Gallery, music and camera app, some changes in the location settings, a new Do Not Disturb mode, new Bluetooth profiles and other subtle improvements.
The update is 330.6 MB in size so we’ll suggest you to download the OTA update over WiFi to save up your mobile data bandwidth. In case your device doesn’t show up a notification for the update, you should manually check for updates in the settings. Do tell us how you like the new update on your HTC One?
