Recently we heard rumours claiming that Google would release the Nexus 9 tablet in mid-October. With the date fast approaching, we are getting more reports which seem to confirm the expected release.
According to sources, the alleged Nexus 9 tablet has just passed through regulatory body FCC. While the listing claims that it is a HTC-made tablet device, we have confirmed reports verifying that the Nexus 9 is manufactured by HTC. To add to that, HTC is not known to be working on any other tablets for the time-being. Hence we can conclude that the device is indeed the HTC Nexus 9.
As usual the FCC filing was helpful enough to reveal details of the tablet but it is disclosed that the tablet would be available in 16 GB and 32 GB variants. Rumours have already assured that we would see a 8.9 inch quad HD display powered by the 64 bit Tegra K1 processor with 3 GB RAM. Should everything go as planned, we should see the tablet by next week.
