It’s been a while that we’ve been hearing rumors about the successor of the popular HTC One. Now noted tipster has revealed the alleged specs of the device.
As revealed by the source, the successor to the HTC One, which is codenamed as the HTC M8, would feature a similar 5 inch display with 1080p resolution. The device is supposedly powered by a quad core Snapdragon MSM8974 processor along with 2 GB of RAM. However, these specs look quite mediocre and comparable to the original device.
Also expected on the HTC M8 is a similar Ultra Pixel camera, which is capable of extremely good low light photography. There would also be a front facing 2.1 MP camera. The device would run on the latest Android 4.4 KitKat with a layer of the new and further improved HTC Sense 6.0 UI. However, none of these features seem to be able to combat the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S5 or other flagships.
Expected specs of the HTC M8:
- 5 inch display
- 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution
- Quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8974 processor
- 2 GB RAM
- 32 GB internal memory
- UltraPixel primary camera
- 2.1 MP front facing camera
- Android v4.4 KitKat
