Just yesterday the first rumors about the successor of the HTC One surfaced, another source today revealed the name of the device along with some more insights about the device.
According to a source trusted for HTC info, the successor to the popular HTC One would be called as the HTC One+ at the time of launch. This seems to be following the pattern of the HTC One X+, which could in reality lead to more confusion. Also the + version just seems to be an incremental update instead of anything path breaking.
While we had already received conclusive details of the specs of the successor of the HTC One, the source further adds more details like the display would be made of the Gorilla Glass 3. Similarly, the recently released Snapdragon 805 processor has been confirmed along with the 2 GB of RAM. However the UltraPixel camera expected is said to be of 6 MP or 8 MP resolution.
Expected specs of the HTC One+:
- 5 inch display
- 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution
- Quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor
- 2 GB RAM
- 32 GB internal memory
- UltraPixel primary camera
- 2.1 MP front facing camera
- Android v4.4 KitKat
