Remember the HTC J Butterfly, the 5-inch full-HD smartphone which was launched in Japan back in October and later launched in the US as the HTC Droid DNA?
Well, while we were expecting the international version of the smartphone to launch as the HTC Deluxe as per various rumours, HTC has made the device official as the HTC Butterfly. HTC has just listed the HTC Butterfly on its international website of HTC which confirms the device for the international markets.
The HTC Butterfly packs in the same specifications as that if the J Butterfly which include:

- Display resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels
- 1.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor
- 2 GB RAM
- 16 GB internal storage
- Expandable to 32 GB via microSD slot
- Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS
- 8 MP rear facing camera
- 2.1MP ultra-wide angle front facing camera
- Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, Wireless charging, Wi-Fi
- 2020 mAh battery
Currently we do not have any information of the pricing or the availability of the HTC Butterfly in various markets but we hope to hear from the company very soon.
