Today morning, we talked about the HTC U which is said to be coming with Snapdragon 835 SoC and touch-sensitive metal frame in April. Well, an unknown HTC device has just been benchmarked by AnTuTu, and going by the specs that are revealed on AnTuTu, this might be the HTC U.
This HTC smartphone is listed on AnTuTu as HTC CBP and is powered by Snapdragon 835 SoC which is laced with 4 GB RAM and Adreno 540 GPU. The benchmarked unit runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and comes with 64 GB of internal storage. On the photography front, the device has 16 MP and 12 MP camera. While the size of the display on this device is unknown, it has a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.
All these specs are inline with the specs that were shared by Evan Blass which also mentioned that there would be a 128 GB internal storage variant along with a 5.5-inch QHD display. The report by Blass also stated that the HTC U would run Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box along with Sense 9 UI on top.
The HTC U is said to be unveiled in mid to late April with the global release in early May. We will hear more about this device in the coming days in the form of leaks and rumors if HTC is indeed working on it.
