Just days after the specs of the HTC Desire 8 were revealed, the press renders of the device have been released by the company hinting that the device would be announced at the upcoming MWC 2014.
According to a set of press renders posted by HTC China, the alleged HTC Desire 8 phablet is seen. The press renders clearly show February 24, 2014, thus subtly hinting that the device may be announced on that day. And considering that MWC 2014 begins on the exact same date, we can expect the unveiling to take place at the expo.
The HTC Desire 8 is expected to sport a 5.5 inch display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. While the processor would be just a quad core Snapdragon 400 SoC, there is a massive 13 MP shooter. Also the handset would run on the latest Android KitKat release. The phone is expected in nearly six colour versions including black, red, yellow, orange, cyan and this dark purple version pictured today.
