While HTC has been solely focusing on the mid-range offerings, the company has now launched the HTC Desire 728 in China.
HTC has announced the launch of the HTC Desire 728, which is the company’s latest budget phablet offering with 4G LTE support. The device has a 5.5 inch IPS display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3 GHz octa core MediaTek processor with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage.
The HTC Desire 728 has a 13 MP rear facing auto focus camera with LED flash. There is also a front facing 5 MP camera. The device runs on the latest Android Lollipop version with a decent 2800 mAh battery. The handset is priced at $269 and is expected to be rolled out globally in the next few weeks.
