With the outstanding success of the mid-range HTC Desire series, the company has announced new smartphones namely the HTC Desire 501 and the HTC Desire 700.
The HTC Desire 501 and the HTC Desire 700 are the company’s latest midrange offerings with screen size of 4.3 inches and 5 inches respectively. The HTC Desire 501 is powered by a 1.15 GHz dual core NovaThor processor whereas the HTC Desire 700 has a quad core Snapdragon 200 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz. Both the devices have 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage.
The HTC Desire 501 and the HTC Desire 700 both sport an 8 MP rear facing autofocus camera with LED flash. There is also a front facing 2.1 MP camera with 88-degree ultra-wide-angle lens. Both the devices run on the Android v4.1 with a layer of the HTC Sense UI. Both the smartphones are expected to be launched in India in early 2014.
