Recently HTC has been pushing quite a few devices into the Indian markets in a bid to capture the upcoming smartphone markets. Today the company launched yet another mid-range smartphone in the country.
The HTC Desire 500 has a 4.3 inch display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. The device is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad core Snapdragon 200 processor along with 1 GB of RAM and 4 GB of internal storage. The device also has an Adreno 205 GPU.
The HTC Desire 500 has two cameras – an 8 MP rear camera with BSI sensor and a front facing 1.6 MP camera. The device runs on the Android v4.2 with a layer of the latest HTC BlinkFeed. The device has an 1800 mAh battery. The device has been launched in India for Rs. 24290.
