HTC has been continuously releasing new low-end Android smartphone for the last few weeks. Now the company has launched the HTC Desire 316.
The HTC Desire 316 seems to be more like the Desire 516 in terms of specs and design. The smartphone has a 5 inch display with resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. The handset is powered by a quad core Snapdragon 200 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz along with just 512 MB of RAM. There is just 4 GB internal storage but with provision for microSD cards.
The HTC Desire 316 has a 5 MP rear facing camera and a front facing VGA camera. The phone runs on the Android v4.3 with a 1950 mAh battery. Considering the entry-level specs we can expect the handset to be priced very low. However there is no word on the global release, if any.
