While the company had recently announced its first handset with the MediaTek processor, the company has now announced the upgraded version – the HTC Desire 310w in China.
The HTC Desire 310w has the exact same specs as the Desire 310 but with a slightly improved design. The speaker grill on top is replaced with a chrome strip. The device has a 4.5 inch display along with resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. The handset is powered by a quad core MediaTek MT6582M processor clocked at 1.3 GHz along with 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of internal storage.
The HTC Desire 310w is equipped with a rear facing 5 MP camera and a front facing VGA camera. The device runs on the Android v4.2 and has support for dual SIM with 3G connectivity. Unlike the HTC Desire 310, this handset has a slightly bigger 2000 mAh battery.
