HTC Desire 310 has just been announced in India and it is HTC’s latest endeavour to gain some of the entry-level market share.
The HTC Desire 310 features a 4.5-inch FWVGA (854x480p) display and it’s powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad-core MediaTek processor. There’s a modest 512 MB RAM, 4GB internal storage with microSD expandability up to 32 gigs.
The entry-level Android smartphone comes with a 5 MP fixed focus camera and a VGA front facing camera. There’s Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with Sense, which brings BlinkFeed, Video Highlights and other software tricks we have come to appreciate on the HTC flagships. A 2000mAh battery makes sure that the device doesn’t run out of juice too soon. There’s dual SIM functionality in tow as well.
The device has a MOP of Rs. 11,700 but its available at various online retailers for the price of Rs. 11,350.
If HTC really wants to gain market share of 8-10% in the future, they surely need to do better than this. What do you say?
