After the success of the HTC Butterfly, which was launched last year, the company has now launched the upgraded version of the device but this time with their innovative UltraPixel camera.
The HTC Butterfly S has a 5 inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. While the HTC Butterfly also had the same Snapdragon 600 processor, the processor is clocked at 1.9 GHz for this device backed up by 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 64 GB.
The HTC Butterfly S has taken the UltraPixel camera seen in the HTC One. While details of the camera module are not known, it is expected to remain the same as the HTC One. The device runs on Android Jelly Bean with a layer of the latest HTC Sense UI on top. The device packs in a massive 3200 mAh battery. The smartphone is due for release in July for around $766.
