After launching the HTC J Butterfly, which was specific to the Japan region, the company has now announced the global version – the HTC Butterfly 2.
HTC has announced the launch of the HTC Butterfly 2, which is the global version of the company’s most interesting phone recently. The device has a 5 inch full HD Super LCD 3 display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The smartphone is powered by the quad core Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5 GHz along with 2 GB of RAM and an option of 16 and 32 GB of internal storage.
The HTC Butterfly 2 has a 13 MP rear facing auto focus camera with dual LED flash. There is also a secondary rear facing 2 MP camera, which is used to capture the depth information. Besides that, there is a front facing 5 MP camera with a BSI sensor. The device runs on the latest Android KitKat version with a layer of the HTC Sense 6 UI.
The HTC Butterfly 2 is equipped with water and dust resistant coating. The company has partnered with HARMAN for JBL LiveStage Signal Processing Technology for better audio output. The handset is expected to be announced in Asian markets including India early next month.
