While most of the major handset makers have already released their 2016 flagship, HTC still remains. Now the company seems to be gearing up for the announcement.
HTC has announced its upcoming launch event which is scheduled for April 12 and will be a completely online event live streamed on htc.com. The invite reads, “we admit it. we’re obsessed … but in a good way”. While it doesn’t specify any handset in particular, the hashtag #powerof10 hints towards the upcoming flagship HTC 10 smartphone.
Based on the rumours so far, the HTC 10 smartphone is expected to have a 5.15 display with resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. Like the other flagship smartphones, the handset would be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with 4 GB of RAM. Also expected is a 12.3 MP camera with dual tone flash and a front facing 5 MP camera. We should be hearing more details soon.
