If not, we have come up with a step-by-step guide that shows multiple ways you can find and recover your Windows 11 PC’s Product key so that you can use it to reactivate Windows on another PC or reinstall Windows on your PC if needed.
Method 1: Using Command Prompt to Find Windows 11 Product Key
- Press the Windows+ R button to launch the Run dialog.
- In the run dialog. type CMD and press enter
- In the CMD command prompt window that appears, type in the following command:
wmic path SoftwareLicensingService get OA3xOriginalProductKey
- Once you’ve typed in the above command, press Enter to execute it. You should now see your Windows 11 PC’s Product key.
Method 2: Using Powershell to Find Windows 11 Product Key
- Press the Windows+ R button to launch the Run dialog.
- In the run dialog, type PowerShell and press enter.
- Now type in the following command in the Powershell window:
powershell "(Get-WmiObject -query 'select * from SoftwareLicensingService').OA3xOriginalProductKey"
- Once you’ve typed in the above command, press Enter to execute it. You should now see your Windows 11 PC’s Product key.
That’s pretty much it. Once you have the key, you can write it down or save it to a file on your computer so you can use it to reactivate Windows 11 on another PC whenever needed.
