While Honor has already set up its retail presence using the online platform, the company has now tied up with Sangeetha Mobile to enter the physical retail sector.
Honor, which is an independent Internet Smartphone brand under Huawei, has announced its partnership with Sangeetha Mobile to enter the Indian retail market. The partnership will begin with the sale of Honor Holly at all the retail stores of Sangeetha Mobile, thus giving customers to touch and feel Honor devices.
The partnership between Honor and Sangeetha Mobile would be beneficial to access the network of 320 stores present across 4 states, namely, Karnataka Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Kerala of which 60 percent of the stores are in Bangalore. The smartphone would retail at Rs. 7999 and would be available with an inaugural offer of 20% cashback. Also customers can avail a reliance dongle along with the phone at an additional 1 rupee.
Speaking about the partnership, Mr. Allen Wang, President, Consumer Business Group, Huawei India, said, “We are overwhelmed with the response we have received for our Honor smartphones and especially for Honor Holly. To reinforce our commitment towards our customers in India we have decided to introduce Honor Holly in brick-and-mortar retailer shops where customers can get a hands on experience of our smartphone.
