There are quite a few Honor smartphones available in India for purchase right now. The latest smartphone that was launched in India is the Honor 5X. There’s also a wearable called Band Z1 which is currently out of stock. Having launched smartphones and wearables, Honor is yet to launch any tablet or phablet device in India. But, going by the latest rumors, Honor is gearing up to launch a phablet in India.
This rumored upcoming Honor phablet is expected to boast off a 4100 mAh battery which can offer hours of 3G calling and video playback. Customers often want a device which is large enough to provide good gaming and multimedia experience, but at the same time, is smaller than regular tablets.
Such demands are fulfilled by what are called phablets. The word phablet is a portmanteau of the words phone and tablet. These devices are neither too small to be called a smartphone nor they are too big to be called a tablet. The size of phablets usually range from somewhere between 5.5-inch to 6.5-inch, beyond 7-inch is called a tablet.
Honor is expected to launch the 5C in India tomorrow, and, we reckon that it will also launch a phablet device alongside 5C to expand its device portfolio in India.
