Last year in October, Huawei sub-brand Honor launched its lower mid-range Honor 7X smartphone in China, which was later launched in India in December. Now, Honor is all set to launch the Honor 7C smartphone next week on March 12 in China.
Honor has shared an image (pictured below) on Chinese social network Weibo teasing the launch of Honor 7C. The image has the date March 12 which is when it will be launched in China. Moreover, the image also shows some items that are arranged together in the form of a smartphone.
Well, these items actually do reveal some features of the Honor 7C, with the first and foremost being the 5.99-inch display that in all likelihood will have an aspect ratio of 18:9 and probably a resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels. Although we hope it turns out to be 2160 x 1080 pixels.
Besides, the smartphone will also be having a dual camera setup at the back, and, going by the image, it looks like the secondary camera will have a telephoto lens that would help take photos of distant objects without any significant loss in detail. Yes, we are talking about a mid-range smartphone here so a telephoto lens might be a bit too much, hence, the 7C might indeed come with some zooming functionalities, but it might be digital and not optical. Something that’s already found on almost all smartphones.
Anyways though, moving on, the teaser image also reveals features like Face Unlock and Beauty Mode in tow. And of course, not to forget dual SIM card slot along with a dedicated slot for microSD card for storage expansion.
The Honor 7C had recently passed through TENAA which revealed that the phone would run Android 8.0 Oreo and come packed with a 2900 mAh battery.
