Reiterating its commitment to India, Honor, the global smartphone brand of Huawei, is all set to expand in the Indian market later this month.
Honor, which is well known for its high-end smartphones, has announced that it is all set to launch the Honor 6 Plus and its other range of products in India. The announcement, which came on the side-lines of the ongoing MWC 2015, reveals that the Indian market is of top-priority to the company amongst other emerging markets.
Honor had launched the Honor 3C and Honor 6 on Flipkart in October 2014. Seeing the demand and the tremendous response, the company has now prioritised the Indian market and is expected to launch new smartphones, which include 4G enabled devices, by the end of this month.
Speaking about the plans, Dragon Yin, President, Honor International Business, said, “Honor was launched last year in Western Europe and the success in these markets has made us optimistic. We have already entered 57 global markets only in 6 months and plan to invest considerably to develop global markets and India as these are very important market for us.”
