With the Honor series of Huawei gaining momentum with its affordable smartphones, the company has now launched the Honor 5X.
Huawei has announced the launch of the Honor 5X, which is the successor to the Honor 4X with a full metal body and a fingerprint scanner. The device has a 5.5 inch IPS display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 1.7 GHz quad core Snapdragon 616 processor with 2 GB of RAM (there would also be a 3 GB variant) and 16 GB of internal storage.
The Honor 5X has a 13 MP rear facing auto focus camera with dual LED flash. There is also a front facing 5 MP camera. The device runs on the Android Lollipop version with a massive 3000 mAh battery. The handset is priced at $157 (approx. Rs. 10000) and is expected to rollout globally soon.
