Alongside the massive Honor Note 8, Huawei has also launched the ultra-affordable Honor 5 with a very low price-point.
Huawei has announced the launch of the Honor 5, which is the company’s budget 4G smartphone offering in the Honor range. The device has a 5 inch IPS display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad core MediaTek processor with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage.
The Honor 5 has an 8 MP rear facing auto focus camera with dual LED flash. There is also a front facing 2 MP camera with flash. The device runs on the Android Lollipop version with a 2200 mAh battery. The phone has dedicated dual SIM support with 4G LTE connectivity. The handset is priced at 599 Yuan (approx. Rs. 6000) and is available in Black, White and Gold colour options.
