HMD Global, who own the Nokia brand, unveiled Nokia 3, 5 and 6 in the first quarter of this year, and now, the company is all set to launch these smartphones in India. All three of these smartphones will be launched in India on June 13, i.e., tomorrow, and while there’s no information about the pricing of these smartphones, a leak gives us an idea of how much they might cost in India.
This leak comes from BSU who claim to have received this pricing information from a “trusted retailer“. According to this retailer, the Nokia 3 will be priced at ₹9990 in India whereas Nokia 5 will be priced at ₹12,990. Speaking of Nokia 6, it will be priced at ₹15,990.
For those unaware, the Nokia 3 is powered by MediaTek’s MT6737 quad-core processor which is coupled with 2 GB RAM. It comes with 5-inch HD display which is kept on by a 2650 mAh battery. The Nokia 3 has an 8 MP snapper at the back and on the front, and, it comes with 16 GB of internal storage while running Android Nougat out of the box.
Speaking of Nokia 5, it comes with Snapdragon 430 SoC under the hood which is paired with 2 GB RAM. It has a 5.2-inch HD display and a 3000 mAh battery keeps the lights on. The Nokia 5 boots up to Android Nougat and has a 13 MP camera at the back and an 8 MP camera on the front. Like Nokia 3, the Nokia 5 also has 16 GB of internal storage on board.
