While Google has been desperately trying to increase interactions on its platforms, the company has now launched a group discussion app for individual topics.
Google has announced the release of the Spaces app which aims at offering people a better group sharing experience. While the main feature of the app is the ability to share interesting topics and articles including videos and images, the same can be done without having to leave the app as it comes built-in in with Google Search, YouTube and even Chrome.
To initiate a discussion, users first needs to create a space about a particular topic. Friends can then be invited with a quick link via messaging, email, or any other medium. Users can then find and share content without having to switch apps. The Google Spaces app is currently available to all Gmail users on Android, iPhone and the Web.
