When it comes to some of Google’s services, we users in India often feel unfortunate and ignored. There are a couple of Google’s services which are not yet available in India. For example Google Rewards, YouTube Red and Google Play Music. No, we aren’t talking about the Play Music app, rather, the ability to buy music from Google Play Music (through web version). However, it now seems that the web version of Play Music is accessible to some users in India.
As reported by users on Reddit, they were able to see list of songs along with their prices. Users can either buy a single songs or buy an entire album. A single song is priced at around ₹15 whereas an entire album will cost upwards of ₹130.
Besides this, Google seems to be planning to bring YouTube Red as well in India. Some users have received notifications from Google through the YouTube app. For now, Indian users have to make do with other music services like Saavn, Gaana, Hungama and Apple Music.
By the way, are you waiting for the arrival of Google Play Music and YouTube Red in India?
