With the importance of a long lasting battery clearly visible in market sales, Gionee has now launched the Gionee M6 and the Gionee M6 Plus in China.
Gionee has announced the launch of the Gionee M6 and the Gionee M6 Plus with long-lasting battery life. The devices flaunt a metal alloy body treated with zircon sand surface coating that offers a smooth finish and have an infrared sensor on the top. The handsets have a fingerprint scanner embedded in the Home button. Interestingly, the Chinese variant has an encrypted chip to secure data.
Both the smartphones have a full HD 2.5D curved glass AMOLED display with The Gionee M6 measuring 5.5 inch and the Gionee M6 Plus measuring 6 inches. Both the devices are powered by the octa core MediaTek Helio P10 processor with 4 GB of RAM and are available in 64 GB and 128 GB storage variants.
The Gionee M6 has a 13 MP PDAF camera whereas the Gionee M6 Plus has a 16 MP camera. Both have a front facing 8 MP camera. The Gionee M6 comes with a 5000 mAh battery and the Gionee M6 Plus has a 6020 mAh battery, both with 9V/2A fast charging support with dual charging chip. The Gionee M6 is priced starting at 2699 Yuan (approx. Rs. 27000) whereas the Gionee M6 Plus is priced starting at 2999 Yuan (approx. Rs. 30000).
