Gionee recently announced its flagship Elife E7 and its mini variant with much fanfare in India and now they have just announced two new smartphones, the Gpad G4 and M2.
Talking about the phablet Gionee Gpad G4 first, the device comes a 5.7-inch HD (1280×720) one glass solution (OGS) display. It has a cool Aluminium unibody design. Under the hood, it features a 1.5 GHz quad-core MediaTek 6589T processor and 1GB RAM. There’s 16GB internal storage, a 13 MP rear camera with LED flash, 5 MP front facing camera. Android 4.2 Jelly Bean runs the show and the phablet is powered by a 3200 mAh battery.

Now, talking about the Gionee M2, it is a budget smartphone. The device will come with a 5-inch FWVGA (854×480) display, a 1.3 GHz quad-core Cortex A7 processor with 1GB RAM. There’s an 8MP autofocus camera with LED flash and a 2 MP front facing camera. Internal storage is 4GB along with microSD expandability upto 32GB. Android 4.2 Jelly Bean is on-board and the most interesting thing about the device is the huge 4200 mAh battery it comes with. Gionee rates the battery at 555h standby and up to 24h (3G) / 31.5h (2G) talk time.
