Days after announcing the Gionee Elife S5.5, the company has now displayed the world’s slimmest smartphone at the ongoing Mobile World Congress.
The Gionee Elife S5.5, which measures just 5.5 mm is known to be the world’s slimmest smartphone, leaving the competition far behind. The new S series, which was on display at the MWC 2014, is based on the customer’s desire for a slim smartphone which can also act as a fashionable accessory. The handset is expected to be launched in India in March 2014.
The Gionee Elife S5.5 has a 5 inch display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 1.7 GHz quad core processor along with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. The handset is equipped with a massive 13 MP rear facing camera with LED flash. There is also a front facing 5 MP camera.
