After launching the world’s thinnest smartphone in China, Gionee, which recently entered the Indian market, has now launched the Gionee Elife S5.5 in the country.
The Gionee Elife S5.5, measuring just 5.5 mm thin, is the world’s thinnest smartphone. The device has a 5 inch display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 1.7 GHz octa core processor along with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. The phone runs on the Amigo v.2.0, which is based on the Android v4.2.
The Gionee Elife S5.5 is equipped with a massive 13 MP rear facing camera with LED flash. There is also a front facing 5 MP camera. The phone has a 2300 mAh battery, which the company claims would last an entire day on a single charge. The handset is priced at Rs. 22,999 and would be available staring from April 27.
