There always has been a confusion surrounding the world’s thinnest phone. But Gionee has totally cleared the decks to snatch the title for its Gionee Elife S5.5.
The Gionee Elife S5.5, which is just 5.5 mm thin, the world’s thinnest smartphone, leaving the competition far behind. The device has a 5 inch display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 1.7 GHz quad core processor along with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. The handset is available in 3G and LTE version.
The Gionee Elife S5.5 is equipped with a massive 13 MP rear facing camera with LED flash. There is also a front facing 5 MP camera. The phone has a 2300 mAh battery, which the company claims would last an entire day on a single charge. The company plans to launch this ultra-thin phone in 40 countries including India.
