Samsung announced its latest flagship, the Galaxy S5 last month at MWC and as per reports, the device will be hitting Indian shores at an event on March 27.
Reportedly, Samsung has already started sending out invites for the event in India. Although the device will supposedly be shown off in India at the March 27 event, the device is expected to hit retail stores only after April 11, which is the date the Galaxy S5 will go on sale globally.
The South Korean giant might also announce its newest wearables, the Gear 2 and Gear Fit at the same event. The rumors have suggested that the Galaxy S5 will be priced lower than what the Galaxy S4 was launched at last year. The Galaxy S4 was launched at Rs. 41,500 and we expect the Galaxy S5 to be priced at around the Rs. 45k mark, considering the weak Indian Rupee.
Although the Samsung Galaxy S5 has failed to really generate a huge buzz but it will still sell in millions. Although I hate the design of the device, there are a number of other features, which make the device interesting such as the impressive ISOCELL camera, dust and water resistance, fingerprint scanner and more. You tell us, what’s the best thing about the Galaxy S5 according to you?
