Fujitsu seems to be on a roll these days. As if the fireworks at CES and a waterproof Arrows Tab weren’t enough, it has also launched a Android phone which can be called a milestone on its part.
So, what does this phone have to offer? Let’s have a look.
- Android 2.3- Gingerbread OS
- 4-inch OLED screen with 480 x 800p resolution and Gorilla glass
- Waterproof body with 6.7mm thickness
- 1.4 GHz processor with 512 MB RAM and external MicroSD support
- NFC
- Digital TV tuner
- Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1
- 5-megapixel CMOS camera
- 1400 mAh battery
While the phone actually has much on offer, some thorns in its side, that we thought were firstly, an Android Gingerbread OS does it quite an injustice, while DoCoMo’s press release has no mention of an update, an Ice Cream Sandwich OS is what really fits the bill. Secondly, with so much on offer, they could have out in an 8-megapixel camera to say the least. But, besides, it’s quite amazing.
Like all Fujitsu products, it is being taken on a test run in the Japanese market first. NTTDoCoMo plans to start selling it this Friday.
