We have been constantly been reporting on the most innovative uses of smartphones. In the past smartphones have actually saved people’s lives from bullets and mortar. But, people are people, and they will try to use smartphones in other ways too. A Florida man has done just that – he killed his roommate and asked Siri where to hide his body.
A University of Florida student named Pedro Bravo murdered his roommate back in 2012, but court investigations revealed that he actually asked Siri’s advice on his iPhone on where to bury the dead body.
According to a detective working the case, Bravo subsequently fired up Siri on his iPhone and entered the following query, “I need to hide my roommate.”
Siri now responds to such queries with “That’s very funny.”
But, at the time it is believed to have said,”What kind of place are you looking for? Swamps. Reservoirs. Metal Foundries. Dumps.”
Bravo finally decided to bury his roommate in a makeshift grave in a forest near his home.
Apart, from Siri, Bravo is said to have used the Flashlight app 9 times, probably while burying the body.
