While the alleged Nexus 9 tablet just passed the FCC, the first close-up image of the much awaited tablet has finally surfaced.
The photos of the alleged Nexus 9 made by HTC surfaced on Twitter. While we could get a look at only the back side, we got a good idea how the tablet would look. For starters, the tablet looks comparatively bigger and is more square is shape (shall we say like the iPad?). Interestingly, the tablet seems to have the matte-style finish on the back panel, quite similar to the Nexus 5.
The photo of the alleged Nexus 9 shows the Nexus logo etched out in the middle with the HTC logo printed at the bottom. Rumours suggest that the front however would have an aluminium finish. We can expect a massive 8.9 inch display with quad HD resolution and the Tegra K1 processor. Sources suggest that the tablet could be announced later next week.
