Mozilla has announced the release of Firefox for Android Beta 9 which comes with a totally new experience for tablet users.
The beta build has two new features for developers. Developers can now make use of the new tools to take camera input into their web apps directly from Firefox, and it has a new HTML5 form validation API.
The features are as follows:
- New look and User Interface for Tablets: Firefox Beta optimizes popular Firefox features like tabs and the Awesome Screen.
- Full-Screen Portrait Browsing: Firefox Beta takes full advantage of large tablet screens so you can use the full screen to browse the Web, even in portrait mode.
- Tab Optimization: Tabs are shown as thumbnails in the left panel of Firefox Beta while viewing full website on the right side
- New Action Bar with Quick Access Buttons: Now you can access Firefox Preferences, Add-ons, downloads and more in the new Action Bar menu. It also adds back, forward and bookmark buttons for easy access.
